>Description:
Same dmesg as in PR pkg/46919. Highlights:
hdafg1 at hdaudio0: Intel G45 HDMI
hdafg1: HDMI00 8ch: Digital Out [Jack]
Devices clearly supports audio and i can hear some hissing on the device's
speaker when the cable is plugged in, so speaker for HDMI on device works.
Onboard audio: audio0 at hdafg0: full duplex, playback, capture, independent
Sounds works fine through that device.

As I recall this was intentionally disabled because a lot of video
cards have a ~useless HDMI hdaudio on them, and without taking
explicit precautions they tend to become the default audio device and
then your sound stops working.
There's probably a better way to detect those, but I haven't any idea
what it is.
