State-Changed-Why:
I've made a number of changes in ACPI in -current lately, could you try a -current kernel?

Subject: Re: kern/47438 boot hangs after acpi0 on HP dv7-3060us notebook
Date: Tue, 28 May 2013 20:22:56 +0200 (CEST)

The same problem appeared on my Athlon II X4 with ACPICA 20110623.
I was able to boot by setting BIOS option 'HPET table' to 'on'.
This is the high precision event timer (hpet0 at acpi0).

 Good luck,

 Kai-Uwe
