(virgin environment, NetBSD 6.1.4 GENERIC (i386) just installed)
>Description:
When doing a custom install, the user can choose to install the man pages, but they might not work because program 'mandoc' might not be installed.

Issuing "man ..." might return error because 'mandoc' is not installed.
>How-To-Repeat:
Do a custom install, choosing to install the man pages but not (presumably) the text processing tools? (is */*bin/mandoc among those tools?)
>Fix:
If the user chooses to install man pages, program 'mandoc' should always be installed.

 i'm a little confused.

 src/distrib/sets/lists/base/mi:./usr/bin/mandoc base-man-bin

so isn't /usr/bin/mandoc available on all installs? are there
other data files it needs that are missing?
