 If it is mono: known bug in mono, I tried to fix it in the past, but it
 seems I haven't been completely succesful.

 Pretty sure it was running the mono compiler, compiling a .cs file.

stale bug report. lang/mono6  seems to build fine, gnome2 has been removed (and now there's a gnome3 that doesn't seem to have this problem).Sorry your bug was not addressed at the time.
