System: NetBSD 8.0_BETA NetBSD 8.0_BETA (VIOLET-$Revision: 8.0e $) #0: Fri Feb 2 06:22:22 UTC 2018 sparc64
Architecture: sparc64
Machine: sparc64

Attempting to run pkg_rolling-replace on a system which has SDL2 as a dependency
for something else fails at devel/libusb-compat with:

===> su-real-package-install [libusb-compat-0.1.6rc2 SDL2-2.0.8] ===> Installing binary package of libusb-compat-0.1.6rc2
pkg_add: Package `libusb-compat-0.1.6rc2' conflicts with `libusb-[0-9]*', and `libusb-0.1.12nb5' is installed.
pkg_add: Installed package `libusb-0.1.12nb5' conflicts with `libusb-compat-[0-9]*' when trying to install `libusb-compat-0.1.6rc2'.
pkg_add: 1 package addition failed
*** Error code 1

make[3]: stopped in /usr/pkgsrc/devel/libusb-compat
*** Error code 1

Trying to delete the conflicting package results in:

pkg_delete libusb-0.1.12nb5
Package `libusb-0.1.12nb5' is still required by other packages:

Perhaps pkg_delete -f libusb-0.1.12nb5, try again, and hope for the best.

This is a well-known problem in pkg_rolling-replace and has nothing to do with libusb-compat
except that it triggered it again...
