>Description:
Gajim does not store or remember passwords:
The following error is shown in the shell output window, after executing gajim:
26/02/2021 06:31:04 (W) gajim.password No recommended keyring backend available.Passwords cannot be stored.
Besides that propblem/bug, gajim works fine for me on NetBSD/amd64 and NetBSD/i386. The problem occurs on both NetBSD/amd64 (hand compiled and binary) and NetBSD/i386 (binary).
>How-To-Repeat:
Execute gajim& on the shell and enter the password for your XMPP/Jabber account into the password window and choose "remember password". The password won't be remembered.

None known.

It looks like it wants gcr/gnome-keyring to be installed.
Since Gajim uses gtk via Python, the dependency is optional and its
availability is detected at runtime.

Dear Nia,
gcr, gnome-keyring and py38-gnome-keyring is already installed on my
NetBSD system.
The error I wrote about before, still happens.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Adrian Kiess
