>Description:
When I switch the workspace with the mouse, I cannot write in applications such as Firefox or Libreoffice.
>How-To-Repeat:
1. Open Firefox in second workspace.
2. Do something in the first workspace, e.g. ls command in xterm.
3. Click the second workspace icon to go to the second workspace. Do not use keyboard alt-2.
4. Click in Firefox address field and try to write something. Letters do not appear.
5. Move Firefox window a bit and you can write now.

This looks like the report here:
https://www.mail-archive.com/ctwm@ctwm.org/msg01257.html
but that doesn't specify the CTWM version; and I'm unable to
reproduce this on 4.1.0. Does the latest version work:
https://pkgsrc.se/wm/ctwm

This problem is different than the one described in:
https://www.mail-archive.com/ctwm@ctwm.org/msg01257.html
and it occurs in NetBSD 9.4, NetBSD 10.0 with ctwm 4.0.3.
I can switch between workspaces but when I go back to a workspace I
can't sometimes type in it. This problem happens randomly and goes
away when I move the app window a bit with the mouse by grabbing the
title bar and I can type again.

I just tested ctwm-4.0.3 from 9.4_STABLE on a -HEAD system and I just can't
reproduce this. (Apart from a bug making drop-down menus in FF disappear when
you move into them; but, that isn't seen on 4.1.0.)
Can you try compiling ctwm-4.1.0 from pkgsrc (it's very easy) after appliying
the patch from here as a local patch:
https://www.mail-archive.com/ctwm@ctwm.org/msg01272.html
The pkgsrc guide tells you how to do it. Else, just file a pkgsrc PR. Without
that patch, the ctwm-4.1.0 in pkgsrc doesn't launch programs correctly.
