>Description:
The port page at https://wiki.netbsd.org/ports/evbmips/ mentions the erlite3 but doesn't link to instructions for installing NetBSD onto the internal storage (which, if I recall correctly, is umass(4)). Can it boot an image from an external USB port and run sysinst that way? Does it require U-Boot incantations?
I have only ever netbooted it with dhcp/tftp/nfs using the manual U-Boot incantations:
dhcp
tftp $loadaddr OCTEON
bootoctlinux $loadaddr root=cnmac0
>How-To-Repeat:
seek to install NetBSD on erlite3
>Fix:
Yes, please!
Maybe it's just a matter of making a link to this information more obvious, if it's already written down somewhere.
