>Description:

Running the ATF tests under NetBSD-current from source date
2025.04.24.12.54.43 with patches as described in PR 59236 on a
Ubiquity EdgeRouter Lite, the system locks up and does not even
respond to a break signal from the serial console.

Here's an example of the output from "atf-run | atf-report" ending
abruptly in the middle of a line:

  bin/sh/t_arith (10/985): 33 test cases
      constants: [9.363242s] Passed.
      do_unary_minus: [5.210813s] Passed.
      do_unary_not: [4.539255s] Passed.
      do_unary_plus: [3.360703s] Passed.
      do_unary_tilde: [2.927630s] Passed.
      elementary_add: [9.342770s] Pass

Another run:

  bin/cp/t_cp (2/985): 10 test cases
      dir_to_dir: [9.053238s] Pass

A third:

  bin/sh/t_arith (10/985): 33 test cases
      constants: [7.761773s] Passed.
      do_unary_minus: [3.690076s] Passed.
      do_unary_not: [3.599972s] Passed.
      do_unary_plus: [2.979974s] Passed.
      do_unary_tilde: [2.181179s] Passed.
      elementary_add: [6.071164s] Passed.
      elementary_div: [4.659961s] Passed.
      elementary_eq: [6.461364s] Passed.
      elementary_ge: [2.090035s] Passed.
      elementary_gt: [5.911229s] Pass

Similar lockups also happen if I try to reinstall the sets
using sysinst in an unpatched versions of -current from
before the January jemalloc update. For example, using
2025.01.31.12.29.19 sources, while extracting the base set,
the sysinst output stopped at

 22% |******* | 49664 KiB 403.00 KiB/s 07:13 ETA

and again the serial console did not respond to a break.

I have tested using both the original USB stick that came with the
erlite3 and a Kingston DTSE9 8GB, and the lockups happen with both.
