 This seems to be a duplicate of PR misc/57824 (though I'm not able to
 reach gnats.netbsd.org to look at it), which was addressed in -current
 (and so in 10.x stable) with:

 This wasn't pulled up to 9, though. I can submit a ticket for this, if
 desired.
