As of netbsd-7, msk(4) does not recognize (much less support) the
Marvell Yukon 88E8040 as shipped with the Samsung NC10, see PR
kern/49270.

State-Changed-Why:
we may have msk(4) but it doesn't work.
Do you know what's needed? (e.g. syncing from openbsd, adding device ids,
writing a new subdriver for a different chip model, etc.)

The patch provided in kern/49270 adds the device ID (I think I got them
from the FeeBSD driver, but it's been a while - my NC10 caught the
display cable bug which I fixed only recently), and makes msk(4)
recognize and configure the NIC.
Unfortunately, no packet ever enters the wire, so there are important
things missing.

State-Changed-Why:
49270 is closed with at least the indication that things worked,
so close this too. If that's a misreading or wrong assumption,
write in or let me know and I can reopen this.
