NetBSD dstar 7.0.1_PATCH NetBSD 7.0.1_PATCH (GENERIC) #0: Sat May 28 11:24:19 EDT 2016 scole@dstar:/home/scole/nbsd/7_0/obj/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC i386
>Description:
I made changes for ia64 so it is possible to build a distribution or
release, e.g., "./build.sh -m ia64 distribution", will complete. This
worked with x11 too. These changes are just to allow the build to
finish, there is still much left incomplete with kernel et al.

The changes made were mostly adding stubs where needed, adding the
glue for ia64 distribution and release targets, or disabling stuff
that is obviously incomplete (e.g., rump) For the stubs, I tried put
panic, aborts(), break.i's or XXX's to show where they are incomplete.

The release target doesn't build any installation media yet with these
changes; cdrom & netboot/loader.efi will need to be added eventually.

I know this is premature considering the kernel has much work to go.
But I wanted to get a better idea of what is left to do, and try to
start using the ski emulator

A patch will be attached shortly, feel free to modify in any way.

Thanks
>How-To-Repeat:
./build.sh -m ia64 release
 or
./build.sh -m ia64 distribution
