When asking to enter suspend to RAM state, the laptop seems to go to S3 state, then reboots with no message.
The machine is a Dell Latitude 7490, here's what's been tested:
# sysctl -w hw.acpi.sleep.state=3
also:
# sysctl -w hw.acpi.sleep.vbios=2
# sysctl -w hw.acpi.sleep.state=3
Also tried to boot with userconf disable i915drmkms, as well as iwm*, same result, the machine would reset after what seems to be the process to enter S3 state. No log on the console, only this in syslog:

Is this still reproducible in netbsd-10?
If yes: Can you try suspending and resuming device subtrees by running
sleep 1 && drvctl -S <dev> && sleep 1 && drvctl -Q <dev>
for various devices shown in `drvctl -lt'? Good place to start is usbN
and pciN for each N, and then go up the device tree if it works or down
the device tree if it fails.
