Building NetBSD-current/evbarm-earmv7hf on a Debian 12 host fails with
the error message:

   src/distrib/utils/embedded/mkimage: 49: set: Illegal option -o pipefail

since this commit:

   2026.02.15.21.07.36 riastradh src/distrib/utils/embedded/mkimage 1.94

This is using the stock Debian /bin/sh which is a symlink to dash.

The setting of the pipefail option has been reverted.

It was pointless, there are no pipes for it to have any effect upon.

Note however that up to date dash does support the option, it is
a posix standard option (since 2024).

 PR 60119 - don't set -o pipefail (revert previous)

 I was going to make the setting of the pipefail option check if
 the executing shell supports the option or not (all should really,
 and up to date dash does - it is a standard option) - but then I
 looked at the script, and couldn't find a pipe used anywhere.

 The option is useless here.   So, bye-bye pipefail.
