System: NetBSD martins.aprisoft.de 11.99.6 NetBSD 11.99.6 (GENERIC) #305: Sun Jun 14 16:08:28 CEST 2026 martin@martins.aprisoft.de:/home/martin/current/src/sys/arch/amd64/compile/GENERIC amd64
Architecture: x86_64
Machine: amd64
>Description:
The installation notes (e.g.
https://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-11.0_RC5/amd64/INSTALL.html)
document all sets in the distribution - but the compat sets are not
noted there.
Fixing that is mostly a matter of reorganizing the makefile fragments
that controll them, e.g. from src/usr.sbin/sysinst/Makefile.inc
the parts the add -DHAVE_BASE32 and friends to CPPFLAGS for sysinst.
This should be moved to a separate *.inc file and reused in
src/distrib/notes/Makefile.inc to add corresponding variables to PRESET
so the text in common/ can be conditionally adjusted.
