 Second attempt to compile NetBSD STABLE, both turned out the same.
 One was downloaded from nyftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/
 nyftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-11/20260819115158Z/, the
 other from
 nyftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-11/20260827171453Z/.

 I untarred the NetBSD distribution into a clean usr dir, and let the
 build make a clean, new, and empty
 HOUSE-20260827171453Z.11.0_STABLE-amd64tools/,
 dest-HOUSE-20260827171453Z.11.0_STABLE-for-amd64/, and
 tar_files-HOUSE-20260827171453Z.11.0_STABLE/, and obj/ directories.

 The first build's command was the same, except that I didn't specify
 an obj directory.

 This is hard to diagnose remotely, as all auto-builds of the netbsd-11
 branch work and there is nothing special in the build.sh command line
 besides the -V KERNEL_DIR=yes (which is unlikely to cause the kind
 of fallout you see).

 Something in the build must have gone wrong shortly before the list
 of commands that you showed in the PR. You need to check everything
 from first creation of fs.spec to the failure for error messages.
