No Xorg.0.log as the machine crashes before log can be written.
>How-To-Repeat:
NetBSD 11.0 full install with X on ASRock Q1900-ITX motherboard (https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Q1900-ITX/index.fr.asp#Support)
=> Default X installation with i915 driver crashes... :(
>Fix:
1) in xorg.conf :
Section "Device"
Identifier "Card0"
Driver "wsfb"
EndSection
2) in .profile
export LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1
So X runs nicely in framebuffer mode only, GPU acceleration just lost

State-Changed-By: riastradh@NetBSD.org
State-Changed-When: Tue, 22 Sep 2026 13:23:33 +0000
State-Changed-Why:
Can you please try with a current kernel, having i915_gem_pages.c
rev. 1.8?
You don't need to upgrade everything; you can just copy a current
kernel to, say, /netbsd-HEAD and boot that on your 11.0 userland. If
it works, we can pull the change up to the netbsd-11 branch so it will
appear in 11.1.

State-Changed-Why:
probably fixed in HEAD, needs pullup-11 and pullup-10
...then back to feedback
